Evgeny Yurievitch is a Russian engineer specialized in the fields of computer security, malware and antivirus. He masters secure development, application vulnerability research, as well as computer attack techniques.
After failing at the local university, he started earning his living by working in a call center for a telephone operator. He resigned shortly afterwards, and began to teach himself about IT security.
Beginning on Linux systems, he learns development by participating in several evolutions in Ubuntu packages, and designs his own system optimization scripts. He will join a local community of hackers with whom he will increase his skills, before signing with a Russian antivirus software editor.
In charge of developing and improving malware recognition modules, Evgeny Yurievitch is also interested in backdoors that have not been fixed by some software and operating system editors.
He then tests his skills on the exploitation and correction of these vulnerabilities, before launching a project aimed at automating their discovery through a series of intelligent tests.
After that, he spent several years selling his IT security services to numerous international clients, and eventually moved to Switzerland while starting his own company shortly afterwards.
Finally, in a pro-ai (artificial intelligence) move, he decided to partner with Aslanov Sorokin, with whom he had worked in the past, to create XANA AI.
